A space to slow down, recharge, and find balance in a fast-moving world.

Breath. Pause. Thrive

I founded The Pause Project because I know what it feels like to be stuck in a cycle where school, social media, and life moves too fast. In my first year of high school, I lost balance—studying, eating, and spending all my time in bed. I struggled to sleep, woke up exhausted, and felt disconnected from learning.

Everything changed when I moved to Guatemala. I reset my habits, separated my study and rest spaces, and became intentional with social media. I stopped using my phone in bed, deleted TikTok, and built a routine that prioritized balance. For the first time in a long time, I felt present and in control.

That’s why I started The Pause Project. This isn’t about taking one break and moving on—it’s about a lifestyle where pausing is a strategy for living better. I want this to be more than a blog; I want it to be a community where people slow down and embrace a mindful way of life.

Because sometimes, the most powerful thing you can do is pause.
